What to Expect.

Insomnia is the Walking Street institution — the place everyone ends up at 4am whether they planned to or not. It's a three-room maze stacked over two levels, with each room running its own genre and its own crowd. The mainstage is pure festival-style EDM, the middle room is hip-hop, and the back room — the one with the leather couches and the cracked disco ball — is classic rock and pop covers. Free entry, cheap drinks, and a 6am close make this the most democratic club in town.

The mainstage gets uncomfortably hot after 1am — head to the back room for breathable air without leaving the venue. Drinks are noticeably cheaper than the megaclubs across the street, which is why locals working in the hospitality industry pre-party here. Cash is preferred at the bars; card machines exist but the queues are longer.
