What to Expect.

Hot Tuna is the cover band that other cover bands aspire to be. They've been the Walking Street house band for over fifteen years, they know every Bon Jovi single-by-single, and the room is built around their live set: a small raised stage, a half-moon of bar tables on the floor, and standing room everywhere else. There's no entry fee, the drinks are cheap, and the singalong volume hits karaoke-pitch by 11pm.

Get there by 9pm to grab a table — by 10pm it's standing room only. The band takes 20-minute breaks between sets, which is the only time conversation is possible. Cash works best at the bar.
