What to Expect.

The Pier sits at the southern entrance to Walking Street, with its stage opening directly onto the street so you can hear the band from outside before you decide to walk in. The format is unpretentious — open bar, picnic-style table seating, a four-piece band cycling through Eagles, Creedence and Stones covers. It starts earlier than most live venues (the band kicks off at 8:30pm) which makes it the natural first-stop for dinner-and-drinks groups before they push into the megaclubs.

Front-row tables on the street side are the prime real estate — you're literally on Walking Street while the band plays. Reservations aren't taken so arrive by 8pm to claim a good spot.
